Terms of Use

Last updated 8 October 2026

Kintsugi is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page explains, in plain words, how purchases and the Patron membership work.

The licence

Kintsugi is made by HitScore Labs LLC. When you download it, you agree to Apple’s standard licence for apps from the App Store, linked above. That licence is the agreement between you and us; nothing on this page replaces it.

What’s free

The Tea House, Porcelain Hall and the Daily Break are free to play, with no ads and no limit on how often you play.

Buying a hall

You can buy any of the other four halls on its own. A hall you buy is yours to keep on your Apple Account, on all your devices. If it ever goes missing, open Settings › Restore purchases in the app.

Patron membership

Patron is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly, that opens every hall and every seam finish, the archive of past Daily Breaks, a streak freeze each week and Zen mode.

Refunds

Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Gold leaf

Gold leaf is earned by mending pieces and spent in the game, on hints and seam finishes. It can’t be bought, sold or exchanged, and it has no value outside the game.

Your pieces

The pictures, videos and 3D models you make of your mended pieces are yours to keep and share. The game itself, its pieces, art, music and code, belongs to HitScore Labs LLC.

Apple’s services

Game Center, iCloud and AR Quick Look are provided by Apple and covered by Apple’s own terms. See the privacy policy for what they do with your progress and times.

Changes

We may add, change or retire pieces and features in updates. What a Patron membership includes is shown in the app when you subscribe. If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
