A 3D puzzle for iPhone and iPad
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, so the breaks become the most beautiful part. In the game you smash a piece, gather its shards, and set them back one by one. Every crack you close fills with gold.
The idea
Instead of hiding the damage, kintsugi lacquers each crack with gold. Every mend is different, and so is every piece you keep.

Tap the piece and it shatters, a new way every time. The foot stays on the plinth; the rest falls into your tray.

Drag each shard home by its curve, its pattern and its broken edge. Turn the pot to find the far side. Close calls glow warmer.

Gold flows into every seam you close. When the last shard lands, the piece turns once in the light and joins your cabinet.
The museum

The first two halls are free. The other four open with a Patron membership, or one hall at a time.
Daily Break
A new piece arrives every midnight. Mend it to keep your streak going, and see how your Game Center friends did with exactly the same break.
A gentle reminder at the time you choose, if you’d like one. Patrons get a weekly streak freeze, and can mend any day they missed.
Seam finishes
Every seam you close earns gold leaf. Spend it on a hint when you’re stuck, or on a new metal for any piece in your cabinet.
